I’ll admit it: I used to think Pre-K and Kindergarten graduations were a little… unnecessary. I could never quite wrap my head around it, until my oldest daughter’s Pre-K graduation changed everything. I bought her a bouquet of flowers, snapped a few photos, and before I knew it, I was sobbing like a baby. They’re only little once. Since then, we’ve made a point to celebrate every young graduate in our family, and this year, it’s Xander, our pandemic baby’s turn.
To honor the occasion, I had the absolute joy of designing a bright, cheerful party line with My Mind’s Eye for all of the 2025 young graduates. We intentionally created a collection that steps away from traditional black and gold and leans into something far more playful, colorful, and joyful; because that’s exactly what this moment should feel like.
Our celebration came together beautifully with an incredible team of creative partners! Curate Studio was the perfect event space to host our celebration, and Air With Flair created a stunning graduation cap balloon mosaic to compliment the balloon garland (our Pearl and Jane collab felt garland fit right in! ) as well as a pencil balloon sculpture. So cute!
Little Raleigh Party did such an amazing job pulling together all of the details! From the gorgeous florals styled by Golden Flora Shop, to the matching stir sticks from Parker Grove Lane. The pastel grad cap plates, colorful “GRAD” trays, festive cups, and adorable tags from Chalk Designs by Me tied the table together with a playful, modern twist. And the “Your Future is Bright” napkins were the perfect reminder of all the bright days ahead!
The best part of it all was seeing our sweet graduate, Xander, light up with pride and excitement. These are the moments we celebrate, the milestones that remind us just how quickly time flies and how important it is to soak in every bit of it.
The cakes by @xochitlcakes were true works of art, each one crafted with so much care and creativity.

Sweet Bounce House brought the fun to a whole new level! Xander had the best time jumping, waving his “Yay!” and “You Did It!” flags, and soaking up every bit of the magic. The bounce house added the perfect playful energy to the day and created some great memories.
Every smile, every little toast, and every happy bounce made this celebration one we’ll always treasure.
Xander’s excitement and pride were absolutely contagious, filling the day with the kind of pure joy you never want to forget.
This celebration was everything I had hoped it would be. It was colorful, meaningful, and full of so much heart. I’m forever grateful to the amazing team who helped bring this vision to life, and to our sweet graduate Xander for inspiring every moment. Here’s to celebrating all the little milestones. They truly are the big ones.
